GERMAN EDUCATION IS AS GOOD AS THEIR FOOTBALL– CONGRATULATIONS GERMANY ON A WELL DESERVED WORLD CUP GLORY!
Study Abroad 365 has put together a list of 25 universities in Germany that are tuition free for international students seeking to study in Germany. However, be informed that while studying in Germany, you’ll be required to finance your feeding and accommodation expenses. International students should budget roughly 500 Euros for their books, healthcare, food and registration. So in one year, an international student should expect to spend 7000 Euros on feeding, accommodation and books expenses.
HOW TO OBTAIN A VISA
To obtain a German visa, you’ll have to show concrete finance proof of your ability to finance your accommodation and feeding expenses during your time of study. This can be done in either of two ways:
(1) Submit a letter of finances to the German consulate or embassy. You can obtain this sponsor letter from your parents or a German relative who is willing to sponsor your studies in Germany.
(2) Open a German blocked account and deposit roughly 7000 euro. This can only happen once you’ve received your letter of admission. This blocked account is opened in the German embassy.
For more information, visit a German consulate in your home country or check out their websites for further details.

Actually, I have some queries about my higher study destination. I am from NEPAL holding a bachelor's degree in physics. I want to pursue my masters degree in germany , USA or any other country. I want to know If there are any scholarships or financial aids specially for PURE SCIENCE and COSMOLOGY. What are the requirements to get such supports?
Please reply!!

Hi Kushal, glad you like our site! I'm afraid I don't know of any specific scholarships for your subject, but we have scholarships listings for the US, Germany and other countries/regions here. I'd also recommend browsing the official website of the institution/s you're interested in to see if they offer scholarships for your intended course. Hope this helps.

Hello, you can study your bachelor's degree for free at any public university in Germany. There are some English-taught programs available, but they are quite uncommon. To help find programs, you may like to use the Study-in.de website's search tool. Hope this helps!

Hi Hisham, you can work while you study (the amount of time you're able to work depends on where you're from - more information can be found here) but it's not recommended to rely on a part time job to fund your studies. You may like to look for a scholarship to help with costs.

Hi Nokhuthula, you can study your bachelor's degree for free at any public university in Germany, and you may be able to find a scholarship to help with living costs. I'm not sure about what universities do and don't require the SAT, but usually your high school diploma or equivalent will be sufficient for entry onto a bachelor's degree. Hope this helps!

Hi Prateek, I'm afraid masters degrees in Germany are not usually free unless you previously studied your undergraduate degree in the country - but you may be able to find a scholarship. For information on finding a degree in English, please see this article. Hope this helps.
