Basic TOEFL/IELTS requirements

If your first language is not English, and you do not have a degree from a UK, US, or Australian institution, we normally require evidence of your competence in English. We require one of the following combinations of test results for an immediate entry to the MA/MSc programme.

Either:
• An IELTS score of at least 7.0 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each of the four elements of the test.

Or any one of the following three options:
• A TOEFL score of at least 600, with a TWE score of 5.0.
• Computerised test equivalent of 250 with a TWE of 5.0, together with a GMAT of at least 600 with a minimum Analytical Writing Assessment score of 5.0.
• An Internet-based TOEFL score of at least 100, with a minimum score of 21 in each individual element of the test.

Accommodation

MA/MSc course participants can apply for accommodation on Jubilee Campus in the postgraduate residence next to the Business School. All students paying overseas fees who accept a place on our MA/MSc programme by August 31 are guaranteed accommodation in University owned single occupancy rooms.

Entry Requirements

We require a first or upper-second class honours degree (or overseas equivalent) for all the MA/MSc programmes. Applicants need to have studied a substantial component in a related topic. Full course-specific requirements are available at http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/business/ma/index.html

Language Support

Centre for English Language Education offers intensive English language and study skills preparation courses. All overseas students can take advantage of the Centre's language support service for postgraduate students studying at the University.

Christel DeHaan Travel and Tourism Research Institute Bursaries. 2 available @ GBP 2,000

Up to 2, £2000 bursaries for UK, EU, and overseas applicants; up to 2, £2000 bursaries, for students who ave secured a place on the MSc Tourism and Travel Management via the Universitas 21 Diploma Route or have secured a place on the MSc Tourism and Travel Management (non-U21 route).
