OsgoodeÂ’s LLM in Business Law for International Students will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to build a successful career in the worldÂ’s top legal and business environments. The program covers:
• Business law in the United States, Canada and countries/regions that play a key role in the international economy such as the European Union, China and India
• International trade agreements including the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), The World Trade Organization (WTO), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the regulation of trade and competition in the European Union
• Intellectual property law – the latest developments
• Environmental law and practice in emerging economies
• International dispute resolution
Range of Fees
Tuition for 2008/2009 program is $27,000 in Canadian dollars.
Basic TOEFL/IELTS requirements
Minimum requirements are 580 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TEOFL) test (paper) or 235 (computer), or 92 (iBT) or 6.5 International Enlish Language Testing System (IELTS) .

Finance and Scholarships
Scholarships are available in the amount of $3,000 and $1,000. Additional support in the form of bursaries will be available based on financial need.

Entry Requirements
• Completion of a first degree in law from a four year program in an accredited institution outside Canada
• A minimum of B average in previous post-secondary studies
• Proof of language proficiency for applicants who do not meet one of the following criteria:
1. their first language is English; OR
2. they have completed at least two years of full-time study at an accredited university in a country (or institution) where English is the official language of instruction.
