GSBA accomplishes its mission and achieves its goals by providing the students with the highest quality management education. All GSBA degree-granting programs are responsive to the needs of both their students, actual and potential employers and the demands of the labor market. GSBA prepares its students to be effective managers in business, government, civil society and international organizations.

Workload is deliberately demanding of GSBA students and faculty. All programs require a rigorous course of academic study and practical business involvement. All GSBA degree-granting programs build on the use of action-oriented methods of teaching which include practical exercises, case method, business games, and group projects, supported by superb teachers and instructors. These methods encourage students to internalize and activate the disciplines studied and simultaneously develop teamwork skills.

GSBA requires high entry standards, which guarantees admission of exceptional candidates.

The School offers the following degree-granting programs:

BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (BBA)

The BBA is a highly selective program. Annual admissions are limited to 40 students to assure that each BBA candidate receives an individualized classical university education, anchored in the liberal arts yet allows undergraduates to work in a real business environment to test the knowledge and skills obtained at GSBA in the real world.

International exposure is crucial for tomorrow's business leaders. The BBA program, therefore, encourages students to obtain experience living and learning in foreign cultures. Each of our students can go abroad for a carefully vetted study tour.

MASTER IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

This intensive part-time program allows GSBA to welcome ambitious and creative students who choose to study and work at the same time.

The MSM is a hybrid program designed for students with degrees in non-managerial science. Utilizing modern learning tools, it provides students in-depth knowledge of professional business studies. Students are offered a wide variety of electives in the areas of financial and strategic management.

THE DOCTORAL PROGRAM (PhD)

Research and the development of knowledge are fundamental dimensions of all GSBA programs. The GSBA Doctoral program is designed and structured to foster academic research in applied economics and management. The program is intended for candidates with outstanding intellectual abilities and a strong commitment to research.

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)

The GSBA MBA is a general management program offering a rigorous core curriculum with a wide range of electives that allows students to customize their MBA to meet individual interests and needs. Three different MBA programs allow MBA candidates to choose a specialization and schedule tailored to individual requirements.

PART-TIME MBA

Students study for two years without interrupting their career and attending the GSBA twice per week and one full day on the weekend, supplemented by distance learning.

EXECUTIVE MBA

Designed for professionals based outside Moscow or with time constraints due to travel requirements, the modular program requires two intensive 7-days blocks per year.

MBA IN OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

The program is focused on teaching modern production systems, such as, the Toyota Production System, Kaizen Management System and Lean Manufacturing
