The last Research Assessment Exercise placed us first in Scotland for research and 72% of our staff work in 5 or 5* research departments. None of our departments scored below grade 4 which means that every department is of international standing.

Computer based: 237-250, (depending on course applied for).
Internet-based 90-100.
IELTS: 6.0 - 6.5 or above, depending on programme applied for.
Minimum of 6.0 in Writing component required for most programmes.
Entry to most Postgraduate programmes requires a minimum of IELTS 7.0.

Prices range from £2172 to £6492 per year, depending on facilities. Different lengths of let are available (37 weeks or 50 weeks).
We offer a limited number of scholarships to students studying at Masters level and these tend to be awarded on a competitive basis. PhD students are also eligible for funding and last year alone there were 46 scholarships across the faculties of Arts and Divinity. A good degree with Honours (at least a 2.1) from a UK university or equivalent (e.g. GPA of 3.6 on a 4 point scale from a US university). Some departments have slightly lower requirements.
