Buketov Karaganda State University is the second university in the history of Kazakhstan, and it is one of the oldest and largest universities in the country. Buketov Karaganda State University, being a classical university, has an important social and cultural mission. Our university, according to the traditions of classical universities, maintains high level and fundamental character of higher education. Buketov Karaganda State University is one of the leaders in education, science and culture of Kazakhstan.
The prestige of Buketov Karaganda State University is confirmed by international cooperation. Different public universities, home and foreign institutes work as our partners. Here are only some of them. Central Asian Management Development Fund (CAMAN), INTAS, TASIS, ACCELS, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), British Council, embassy of France, Italy, Turkey, Korea, US Peace Corps.
In May of 2005 KSU became the member of one of the prestigious international organizations in the field of the Higher Education – Magna Charta Universitatum, with headquarters located in Bologna, the oldest university in Europe.
Structure of the postgraduate program:
theoretical training; research work, research fieldwork; professional practice; final certification (complex exam, defense of the dissertation).
Normative duration of program mastering:
Master studies: major direction- 24 credits (1 year); scientific and pedagogical direction- 46 credits (2 year); PhD studies - 60 credits (3 year).
Languages of learning: Kazakh, Russian.
Form of learning: full-time.
Technology of learning: credit.
Forms of financing: state educational order, contractual basis.
