MSc Programmes in Management: the route to an international career at the highest level

ESADE offers two demanding and innovative programmes aimed at talented, recent graduates in Business Management.

Master in International Management

The ever-quickening pace of globalisation since the 1990s has made corporate operations more complex. Professionals wishing to manage companies need specialised international training if they are to develop the competencies needed to work in a multi-cultural, global setting. The Master in International Management arose from the need to train professionals who could rise to the new challenges posed by international management.

  • Duration: 1 academic year
  • Starts: September
  • Schedule: Full Time (60 ECTS)
  • Official qualification: Master in International Management by ESADE (Ramon Llull University)
  • Language: English
  • Language training: Spanish, French or German.
  • Admission requirements: Graduates in Business Administration or similar disciplines. 
  • Content: The programme comprises four stages, designed to gradually bring participants to grips with international management.
    • September – December: The Foundations of International Management
    • January: Personal and Professional Development
    • February – April: Advanced International Management
    • May – July: Research Project (Internship, Company Creation Project or Thesis

Master in Marketing Management

Marketing in companies and as an academic discipline developed by leaps and bounds since Prof. Theodore Levitt wrote his famous article "The Marketing Myopia" back in 1963. This development has been accompanied by greater sophistication in the tools used by companies in carrying out their marketing plans. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plays a key role in this respect. This is why companies seek creative, well-trained professionals who are capable of innovating marketing practices in their respective companies. The Master in Marketing Management turns out graduates who fit the bill.

Combined Programme: MSc Programmes in Management + CEMS Master in International Managemen

It is possible to obtain a Master in International Management from the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS) at the same time as ESADE's MSc Programmes in Management.

  • Duration: 12 months
  • Starts: September
  • Schedule: Full Time (90 ECTS)
  • Content: Comprises five stages. From September to January, each participant follows the syllabus laid down for their chosen programme(i.e. Master in International Management or Master in Marketing Management). The following modules must be taken from February onwards:
    • February - April: CEMS Core Courses/CEMS Business Project
    • May – July: International Internship
    • September – December: International Exchange Programme

Masters in Law
All the Master programs are in Spanish, so you must be fluent in this language.

Language Support

ESADE has its own Executive Language Center. Language training is included in the MSc Programmes in Management and Masters in Law. MSc candidates can choose between English, Spanish, French or German.

Non-English Language Requirements

Masters in Law
Although a certain level of English is not a requirement, you should have a basic level to be able to study the Legal English subject in the programme.

ESADE Law School offers talent grants which cover upwards of 20% of programme fees. These grants are awarded after jointly assessing candidates' academic records along with their Admission Test results and CV.

Of up to €4,000 to reward academic merit. They are awarded after an overall evaluation of academic record, GMAT score, knowledge of foreign languages, etc. These grants are not accruable and must be applied for once the candidate has been accepted onto the program.
