Tsinghua University offers various scholarships and financial aids to its students. There are 2093 graduates won RMB 5.15 million worth scholarships and 235 graduates gained RMB0.84 million worth financial aids in the 2007-08academic year. In the academic year 2008-2009, more than 45% of the international postgraduates are financially supported by Chinese Government Scholarship, Beijing Government Scholarship and Tsinghua University Scholarship.
Prospective MA students are required to have obtained a bachelor degree; Prospective PhD students should have a Masterâs degree; for the international students of other than Master programs in English, Chinese Language Proficiency Test (HSK) level 4 or 6 is required generally. Admission is based on application materials review, and interview or test is also required.
