About National Chung Cheng University

National Chung Cheng University (CCU) was founded in 1989 in Chiayi County, southern Taiwan. Currently, CCU has 11,000+ undergraduate and graduate students, including 400+ international students. As a comprehensive university, it consists of 7 colleges and 29 Departments,  offering 98 graduate programs for Master’s and Doctoral degrees. The university is known for Humanities and Social Sciences, which are highly ranked in the QS World University Subject Rankings.

The College of Engineering has established international internship programs with scholarships, supported by the Ministry of Education. Notably, the college has supervised a Ph.D. student who was recognized as one of the top 2% of scientists by Stanford University.

 

CCU is a member of the Taiwan Comprehensive University System (TCUS), which also includes National Cheng Kung University, National Sun Yat-sen University, and National Chung Hsing University. Through this partnership, TCUS members share teaching and research resources, offering enhanced supports for faculty and students.
