Cost of Living
Living costs in Turin are generally affordable compared with other major Italian cities. A single room in a shared apartment usually costs around €400–600 per month, while utilities may add approximately €70–100; sharing a room can reduce accommodation costs.
Students should also budget around €200–300 per month for food. Public transport is convenient and PoliTO students may benefit from co-funded public transport passes, subject to the relevant eligibility requirements. Turin also offers many affordable cultural and leisure opportunities, while libraries, second-hand books and online resources can help keep study-material costs low.
