University of Colorado, Boulder The University of Colorado at Boulder, a major research and teaching university, enjoys a spectacular environment at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, with over 300 days of sunshine annually. CU-Boulder faculty members bring their research into the classroom in areas such as physics, space sciences, and the American West.
