Our Energy and Environment Institute is enabling the UKs transition to offshore wind and other clean energy solutions and shaping national flood policy, protecting hundreds of thousands of homes.
Our £48 million Wound Innovation Institute will improve health outcomes by working with high profile industry partners to transform the lives of those living with chronic wounds.
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Research will inform how services are delivered to reach those most hidden or excluded from treatment, offering hope and opportunities .
The Wolfson Palliative Care Research Centre, in partnership with the Hull York Medical School, enhances the quality of life for people facing advanced illness, and their families , and works to reduce inequalities in palliative care .
Our social justice research is helping to deliver a fairer future. Our internationally recognised Wilberforce Institute investigates exploitation and injustice, working with industry partners to build ethical, transparent supply chains. We’re advising the UK government on tackling exploitation, protecting human rights, supporting victims and helping to bring the perpetrators of modern slavery to justice .
