Founded in 1537, the University of Lausanne is composed of seven faculties where approximately 12,000 students and 2,200 researchers work and study. The UNIL is focused on several academic disciplines, especially Life Sciences, Medicine, Geosciences, Environment, Business, Humanities and Social Sciences.
