Basic TOEFL/IELTS
Most undergraduate programmes are taught in Dutch and you need to have a satisfactory command of Dutch (NT2; taught in a summer course). Four programmes are taught in English (CEFR, B2/C1 level; IELTS minimum 6.0, or equivalent).

Entry Requirements
The general requirements for admission to the UT bachelors programmes are:
A diploma equivalent to the Dutch VWO (pre-university) diploma. Most programmes require some compulsory subjects, like e.g. mathematics, physics and English.

Students with a different foreign certificate from a previous education are advised to contact the Admission Office of the University of Twente.
