Zuyd is one of the largest Universities of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, located in the southernmost province of Limburg. A strategic location at the heart of one of Europe's most important and prosperous areas, the Meuse-Rhine Euregion. Brussels and Antwerp (Belgium) and the German Ruhr area are only an hour's drive away, and cities sucy as Frankfurt and Paris can be reached within a few hours.
Zuyd has about 1650 employees and over 14500 students at several locations. The study programmes taught in English are all located in the city of Maastricht; we offer undergraduate courses and a number of post-graduate courses here in disciplines such as Arts, Music, Business Studies, Hotel Management, Languages en Communication.
Maastricht is international, full of joie de vivre, and has a large student population. The city has a rich cultural life, a wide variety of shops and boutiques, and a whole host of pubs, bars, cafés and restaurants, all of which make it an ideal place to live, work and study in.
