If you consult the 2025 edition of the QS World University Rankings®, you’ll see six Australian universities made the world’s top 50: the Australian National University (ranked joint 30th in the world), the University of Melbourne (13th), the University of Sydney (18th), the University of New South Wales (19th), the University of Queensland (40th) and Monash University (37th)
