Student Senate
The goal of the Student Senate of Narxoz University is to represent the interests, and protect the rights, of students. The Dean's Office for Student Affairs coordinates the election process and provides organizational assistance to the Senate. The Senate comprises three chairpersons (each representing one of the undergraduate schools) and thirteen other elected representatives.
Student Counselling
Narxoz University provides students with a safe, confidential environment to discuss issues and anxieties relating to personal development, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, coping with stress, grief, bereavement and academic concerns.

FAQs
International students are required to have a C9 student visa. Students apply for the visa through the Consulate/Embassy of Kazakhstan in their home/resident countries. Student visas are typically issued for a period of an entire academic year (or the full academic term for short-term students). This visa type allows students to make multiple entries to Kazakhstan. The visa must be renewed each year. Depending on your nationality, you may not need a visa. More details: Link to the website
All students that need housing will be accommodated in one of three dorms. The dormitory buildings are located near the educational buildings. The total area of the dorms is 18819.9 m2.
· Capacity up to 821 students
· Living area for one person - 6.6 m2
· Each room in the dorm is designed for 2-3 people and is equipped with beds, bedside tables, wardrobes and a refrigerator
· Each building of the dorm has a kitchen, lounges, sports rooms, showers and laundries, equipped with modern appliances - washing machines and dryers, irons and ironing boards
· All dorms have Wi-Fi Internet. The lounges are equipped with plasma TVs with satellite and local television. To ensure the safety of all residents, the dorms are provided with security support 24/7
