The National University of Ostroh Academy

The National University of Ostroh Academy is the successor of Ostroh Slavic, Greek and Latin Academy, the first higher educational establishment of the Eastern Slavs. It was founded in 1576. The NUOA is a higher educational institution licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine. The University offers an excellent setting, combining rigorous training with a rich cultural atmosphere, which helps students gain greater understanding of Ukrainian history and culture. Teaching and research in the National University of Ostroh Academy is organized by Faculties and Institutes.

There are three Institutes and two Faculties offering prestigious specialities:  Educational and Scientific Institute of Social and Humanitarian Management ("Ukrainian language and literature", "Literary creativity and artistic translation", "Practical philosophy. Consulting and coaching", "Culturology", "Journalism", "Psychology", "Psychology of creativity and innovation", "Primary education with advanced studies in English", “Public health”);  Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations and National Security ("International relations", "International regional studies", "History and archeology", "Political science", "National security (by certain fields of security and activities)", "Information, library and archival affairs");  I. Malynovskyi Institute of Law ("Theory and History of State and Law", "State and Legal Disciplines", "Civil and Legal Disciplines", "Municipal Law and Administrative Disciplines", "Justice and Criminal-Legal Disciplines");  Faculty of Economics ("Economical Cybernetics", "Finance, banking and insurance", "Digital Marketing", "Accounting and Taxation", "Computer sciences", "Government and corporate finance"); Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Polish, Latin, Italian).
