Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki

University of the Arts Helsinki (Uniarts Helsinki) was founded in 2013, bringing together three prestigious Finnish art schools; Academy of Fine Arts, Sibelius Academy, and Theatre Academy.

Uniarts Helsinki’s Academy of Fine Arts offers a highly esteemed programme within four subject areas: sculpture, painting, printmaking as well as time and space arts, which allows the student to specialise in moving image, site and situation-specific art or photography. The academy also offer the Praxis Master’s Programme in Exhibition Studies.

Uniarts Helsinki’s mission is to provide high-quality education that takes student’s individual needs into consideration, encouraging them to hone their craft, think independently and push boundaries. Uniarts Helsinki fosters Finnish artistic heritage and aims to renew art.
