Cranfield University campus is 40 minutes away from central London by train, with the nearest towns being Milton Keynes and Bedford. London Luton airport is the closest to the University, while Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted are all easily accessible via train and coach.

Accommodation

Cranfield offer both catered and self-catered on-campus accommodation, from halls of residence to shared houses, apartments for couples to houses for families. The University can also help to find private accommodation in nearby towns and villages. University rooms on the Shrivenham campus are generally reserved for military students.

The learning environment at Cranfield has been created through investment in people and resources to deliver a unique experience in management development.

The School of Management provides excellent teaching and learning facilities, with comprehensive audio-visual equipment and 24/7 wireless internet access. There are spacious areas both inside and out, for breaks, work or relaxation.

All our teaching facilities are designed to enhance your learning experience. Our horseshoe-shaped lecture theatres encourage discussion and debate and we have meeting rooms reserved for group activities and areas for private study.

The School is equipped with a computer studio, a television and radio studio and a  School of Management Library  that offers access to an extensive collection of printed and electronic resources – amongst the most comprehensive to be found in any management school.

The School of Management Library is also home to the Bloomberg Suite, which provides access to the widely-used Bloomberg database of high quality and live financial news and data - on industries, global markets, economic indicators, equities, bonds and derivatives. Cranfield is one of only a few business schools and universities across the UK with access to Bloomberg.

Student life

Cranfield University offers a peaceful location in the English countryside, allowing you to focus on your studies, yet is only a short distance from many exciting cities and towns.

The School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing, Cranfield School of Management and the School of Water, Energy and Environment are located on the Cranfield campus. There is also an extensive range of unique, industrial-scale facilities for research.

All campus amenities – including bars, shops, a post office, sports hall, bank and bookshop – are within walking distance.  Excellent leisure and shopping facilities can be found in Milton Keynes and the historic town of Bedford, just a short drive away.

Whatever your recreational, social or sporting interests, the wide range of opportunities in and around Cranfield University are sure to offer something for everyone.
