Available programs

Postgraduate degrees at UDL are offered across a few different faculties. Polytechnic school (EPS) offers a range of master’s degrees in technical subject areas.

The School of Agrifood and Forestry Engineering and Veterinary Medicine, which is the largest agrifood and forestry campus in Catalonia and one of the largest in Spain, offers a range of master’s programmes in areas such as plant, forestry and animal production, food science and technology, and biotechnology.

Faculty of Law, Economics and Tourism offers master’s degrees and double degrees which centres around tourist, legal, business and economic sectors. With cutting-edge technological advancements and advanced teaching methodologies, the programmes offered, prioritises the development of the capabilities of professionals to match evolving demands of both industry and society.

The Faculty of Education, Psychology and Social Work offers a number of university master’s degrees that are both UdL-specific and taught jointly with other universities. All these programmes include a compulsory subject for practical training to bridge the gap between the world of work and academia.

Located on the grounds of the Hospital de Santa Maria, the Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy offers two master’s degrees in Nursing and physiotherapy.

The Faculty of Arts offers a range of humanities and social science courses at University of Lleida. Majority of these programmes receive training that is both specialised and interdisciplinary, enhancing their grounding in the course that they choose.

Being one of the oldest faculties for medicine in Europe, the faculty of medicine in Lleida also offers a master’s degree in biomedical research.

Why applying to study at Universitat de Lleida, students must visit the university’s pre-enrolment page to find out when the application portal will be opened next. On that day, students can submit their basic details and choose the programme they are interested in before filling in the application page uploading the relevant documents and submitting their application for consideration.
Although Universitat de Lleida does not have any specific admissions requirements, they emphasise that a passion for the subject and a desire to learn is essential. Additionally, many universities will ask for documentation such as:

Universitat de Lleida has five campuses found all across the city, each home to several of their 26 academic faculties and departments. Their main campus is found in the Cappont neighbourhood which is very popular and has a student population of a few thousand. University facilities include:

At Universitat de Lleida, there are eight different faculties teaching a broad range of subjects.
  • The Faculty of Arts is found on the Rectorate Campus and covers all the humanities and social science subjects.
  • The Faculty of Law, Economics and Tourism is found on the Cappont Campus and is the most well-established faculty in terms of the number of students enrolled on its programmes.
  • The Polytechnic School is also found on the Cappont Campus and aims to give students practical skills to successfully enter the job market.
  • The Faculty of Education, Psychology and Social Work is found on the Cappont Campus and teaches over 1,400 students who can choose from five degrees.
  • The Faculty of Medicine is found on the Ciències de la Salut Campus and is one of the oldest in Europe. Medical subjects were originally taught in the Estudi General hospital, founded in 1300, by famous doctors such as Arnau de Vilanova. It had now moved to the Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital.
  • The Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy is also located on the Ciències de la Salut Campus and is found on the grounds of the Hospital de Santa Maria.
  • The School of Agrifood, Forestry Engineering and Veterinary Medicine is found on Campus of Agrifood, Forestry and Veterinary and is one of the largest of its kind in Spain.
  • Finally, the university also has a Doctoral School. It has its own campus and is home to all of the institution’s PhD students.
