Universidad del Rosario

The Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, also called Universidad del Rosario, is a Colombian university founded in 1653 located in the city of Bogotá. It is an institution characterized by its historical heritage and by providing scientific, ethical and humanistic training, conceived, since its establishment, as a university of the students, by the students and for the students.

It is one of the best universities in Colombia and Latin America according to the QS Universities Rankings, for 2024 (last update in September 2023) places it in 32nd place in Latin America, and in the top 3 of private colombian universities.

It was rated in QS STARS (2024-2029), achieving the maximum five QS stars in six categories:  teaching, employability,  internationalization, inclusion, online teaching, and art & culture.

Universidad del Rosario has 10 Schools and Faculties with 40 undergraduate programs, 10 doctorates, 79 specializations, 32 medical-surgical specializations, and 48 master's degrees.
