In the capital city ofColombia, Bogota, the Escuela Superior de Administracion Pública (ESAP) wasfounded in 1958. The institution is dedicated to degrees related to publicadministration, with the mission of training students in public administrativevalues, knowledge, and competencies for the betterment of society in Colombia.

 

The Escuela Superior deAdministracion Pública offers three undergraduate courses and ten postgraduatecourses, all in the fields of public administration, with some specializationssuch as public finance and environmental management. They also offer six onlinecourses, five of which are postgraduate.

 

As well as their Bogotaheadquarters, ESAP have campuses in 15 cities across Colombia, includingMedellín, Cali, and Barranquilla. This reflects the decentralization of theColombian government in the 1980s, where municipalities began to have moreautonomy in governance.
