University of Saskatchewan Undergraduate

The University of Saskatchewan (U of S) is a major research-intensive university located in the heart of the vibrant city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Our picturesque main campus is home to world-class teaching and research facilities, including the Canadian Light Source, Canada’s national centre for synchrotron research; the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization International Vaccine Centre (VIDO-InterVac), one of the world’s most advanced containment level 3 facilities; a state-of-the-art health sciences facility that will support interprofessional education, research and practice; and the Global Institute for Water Security, where key priorities include the sustainable use of the world’s water resources. Due in part to the high quality of research infrastructure, the U of S has six signature areas of research: Aboriginal Peoples, agriculture, energy and mineral resources, animal and human health, synchrotron sciences and water security. The U of S also offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, diplomas and certificates in nearly 200 fields of study. More than 20,000 students from around the world come to the U of S each year to pursue their academic goals, and over 140,000 alumni are now working as leaders and innovators in all corners of the world.
