English and French
Program Description
BA (Hons) English and French will enable you to develop knowledge and understanding of two rich and diverse literary traditions, while also enabling you to develop your skills in French language. There is a core language module in every year of study, one French literature module, one English literature module and one comparative literature module. You will also spend a year in a French-speaking country and your French language skills when you leave university will be just as sophisticated as students who followed a single honours French studies degree. Demand for places on this course is high and students are usually highly motivated by the prospect of an intellectually challenging and satisfying degree.
