Program Description

Four years full-time study leading to the degree of BA (Honours) in German and International Studies or BA (Pass) in German and International Studies (UCAS course no. R2L2).

Students whose second year performance falls below certain minimum standards may be required by the second year examiners to read for a Pass degree. Residence abroad is not a compulsory requirement for students following a Pass degree.

The third year of the degree is spent at a University or other approved educational institution in a German-speaking country. An Easter vacation residential course forms part of the requirements for the third year of the course.
