Seeking to educate professionals and equip them with the skills needed to succeed in the business world, Tecnológico de Monterrey at Monterrey has developed into an institution recognized - both nationally and internationally - for its academic excellence.
With around 20,300 students out of which 2,800 are graduate students, Tecnológico de Monterrey at Monterrey is a teaching, research and entrepreneurial university offerring programs in the areas of engineering, applied science, business, social sciences and humanities. It enrolls more that 1,000 students from across the globe, which makes internationalization of Tecnológico de Monterrey at Monterrey another of its distinctive features. To strengthen its worldwide presence, the institute:
·Maintains fifteen liaison offices throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America.
·Develops an entrepreneurial culture which allows both faculty members and students to incubate technology-based companies from its research and innovations programs.
·Invites foreign professors to serve as visiting faculty members.
·Encourages proficiency in English for students, faculty and administrators.
·Is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools of the United States of America (SACS) to confer Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in the Master's and Doctoral level.
Tecnológico de Monterrey at Monterrey offers study in 34 undergraduate degree programs, 30 master degree programs, 17 medical specializations and 12 doctoral degree programs.
The institute has its own scholarship and student-loan programs that benefit more than 32% of students at the undergraduate and graduate school levels. It also provides academic preparation that is internationally competitive in students' area of specialty. Promotes student participation in sporting activities as well as cultural, academic, and community activities.
