The mission of the Graduate School of Business Administration (GSBA) is to prepare competitive business leaders by providing them with knowledge and skills to achieve success in the rapidly changing business world. GSBA'S curricula and supportive environment fuse the art, science and technology of business.

GSBA is an agent of change. It prepares future managers to think strategically, provides them the necessary skills and nourishes an ethical appreciation to contribute to the development of a civilized, competitive business in Russia.

Traditionally, business education in Russia focused on "scientific management" only. While maintaining the highest standards in these traditional disciplines, GSBA from its beginning has introduced and achieved the highest international standards in its curricula and teaching technologies. What makes GSBA a stand-out among Russian and, indeed, business schools globally, is its fusion of new management approaches with the "art" of business in a business environment of dynamic transformation.

GSBA is a leader in Russian management education, proud to be recognized by business and academic communities for:

  • Action-oriented graduates who lead with integrity, vision, judgment, ethical commitment and social responsibility

  • Outstanding student-centered teaching provided by dedicated full-time, associate and visiting Russian and international faculty using a variety of management education technologies, such as, the case study method, team-work projects, state of the art business simulations and practical consulting experience

  • Integrated and innovative curricula and course materials attuned to the lifelong learning needs of current and future business leaders

  • Managerially relevant research in collaboration with our strategic partner, The Institute for Complex Strategic Studies

  • Mutually strengthening partnerships with Russian and international business organizations, government and civil society leaders that introduce GSBA students to the real-world business environments
