The University of Cambridge (2*), UK, reported in a press release on 27 March 2007, on an taster Open Day that was held at Corpus Christi College for students in their final years at school. The multicultural students, all of whom had shown an interest in potentially making an application to Cambridge University, experienced a series of lectures, some interactive, given by Cambridge academics, followed by sessions on the application and interview process and tours of some of the other colleges at the University. The day intended to give the students a feel for what it might be like to apply and go to the highly ranked university.

Many universities hold open or taster days and it is worth researching this for the opportunity as part of your university search.
