Kingston University, London

We’re proud to be ranked a top 5 university in London for 21 subject areas. The University topped the national tables for interior design and was named second in the country for fashion and textiles and mental health nursing - as well as being the top ranked London institution for both subject areas. Kingston was also top in the capital for children's nursing, graphic design, and midwifery. In architecture and forensic science the University was positioned second in London and third in London for film production and photography (Guardian league table, 2023).  

Kingston provides the ideal study location. The university is located in a student-friendly riverside town of Kingston upon Thames, that’s just a short train ride from the centre of London.  

There’s a lot happening at Kingston. Town House, located at our Penrhyn Road campus has recently won the 2021 RIBA Stirling Prize for Britain’s best new building and provides outstanding study facilities for students, including a new library with over 1,000 study spaces, flexible learning areas, a covered courtyard, cafes, dance studios and roof top gardens.  

At Kingston, you’ll be connected to a range of activities aimed to help you develop inside and outside of the classroom, from studying abroad to learning a new language with our free, Kingston Language Scheme.
