that about 2% of the MS graduates have been decorated with the highest National

of Performance, President Medal for Technology and Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.

linkages with international institutions of high standing including IAEA, CERN
and ICTP and several other universities. PIEAS steers a number of scholarly
activities at national level including STEM project to promote scientific
interest in higher school students and participation in Science Olympiads, as
well as PAK-LINDAU Nobel Laureate Meeting program for young scientists. UNSECO
Chair, “Light for Health” has been created at PIEAS in recognition to its contribution
in Photodynamic Therapy.
