With 4 Bachelor Degree programs (3 years) and more than 30 Master Degree programs (1 or 2 years) taught in English, Tilburg University offers a wide choice of programs for international students.

All students are encouraged to spend part of their degrees abroad, with a choice of over 200 partner universities globally.

Accommodation

We help you get started with finding you own accommodation. We will bring you in contact with two housing companies that specialize in offering fully furnished accommodation. Most of the student residences are conveniently situated near the university or the city centre. Each student has his/her own room within a student unit. Kitchen, showers and toilets are shared with flatmates. The number of rooms on each floor can vary between 4 and 17. The rooms are between 12 and 20 square meters.

Finance and Scholarships

For the academic year 2013-2014 Tilburg University has 40 scholarships available for excellent international students who are admitted to a Master's program at Tilburg University (MA, MSc or LLM). Other Tilburg University Scholarships include: * CentER Scholarships: scholarships for Research Master students from the Tilburg School of Economics & Management *NFP Scholarship: For International Business Law and International and European Public Law students from more than 60 different countries. *Erasmus Mundus Scholarships: for EU- and non-EU students who wish to pursue the International Master in Service Engineering (IMSE). *IMMIT Scholarships: for EU- and non-EU students who wish to pursue the International Master in Management of IT (IMMIT).

English Language Support

The language center offers courses for students who want to improve their skills in English or another foreign language. At the start of your study you will get a set of language vouchers which give you the opportunity to attend two language courses for free. Additional tools for self-study are also available.

TOEFL/IELTS Requirements

If you are an English native speaker or an EEA citizen who has studied in an English taught undergraduate program, an English proficiency test is not required. All other applicants will have to take an English proficiency test. You will have to prove your proficiency in English by sending in either an IELTS certificate (Overall minimum score of 6.5 and an average of 6.0 on each of the parts), a TOEFL certificate (minimum score paper based version 577, computer based version 233, Internet based version 90), a Cambridge Proficiency Examination (CPE) or a Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE).
