The University of East Anglia attracts over 3,000 postgraduate students from around the world each year. In a New Scientist survey of the distribution of the UK’s ‘most highly cited’ researchers the University and NRP jointly ensured Norwich was ranked fourth in the UK - after only London, Cambridge and Oxford.
The international significance of the University’s research has been confirmed by the Times Higher Education world rankings for 2012 which placed UEA in the UK top 10, and the results from the latest (2008) Research Assessment Exercise confirmed UEA as one of the leading research institutions in the UK (placed 35th).
