Our courses and campus life
We offer a wide range of study areas, with ten disciplines ranked in the global top 25 and six disciplines ranked first in Australia (QS Rankings by Subject 2026). With more than 400 study areas and a wide range of professional and specialist degrees, our flexible degree structures will prepare students for a career that is theirs to define.
Outside the classroom, students can make lifelong friends and connections, with more than 260 student-run clubs and societies bringing the campus to life. Our Iconic Quadrangle might be what springs to mind when you think of the University of Sydney, but we also have working farms, a field station on the great Barrier Reef and many other facilities – our teachers, researchers and students are based all over Australia.
