The Graduate School of International Studies at Yonsei University was established in 1987 as a pioneer of professional studies programs in Korea. The founding motivation of Yonsei GSIS was to meet the growing global demand for international academic institutions and to train individuals to become global experts.

The English-based Global MBA (GMBA) program brings forth a new level of management education to match heightened demands and possibilities of this new economy. The full-time option requires at least 4 terms of coursework over 12 months. Students taking the part-time option may take all the courses in weekends to complete the required credits in 18 months.
The core curriculum focuses on developing strong managerial and analytical skills to provide a solid foundation in management by introducing the concepts of the functional areas of business as well as the relationships that exist among them. We also offer various electives that allow in-depth study in various disciplines to specialize in a particular area and tailor the program to one's own goals and interests.
