Why study in Bangkok?
The culture
In Thailand, there's a mix of traditional and modern cultures. Modern shopping malls contrast with traditional Buddhist temples. The famous local floating markets sell traditional Thai food and drink.

A vibrant city
For those who crave the hustle and bustle of a large city, Bangkok is perfect for you. With more than 10 million people, the city buzzes with life and culture.
Good employment prospects
Thailand ranks well in the employer activity indicator, placing in joint 18th. The city is Thailand's major business hub.
Cost of studying in Bangkok
Bangkok ranks joint 33rd for affordability this year, with a low cost of living and low tuition fees.

Life and culture in Bangkok
Thailand's capital is an amazing city with a vibrant culture. It's unsurprising then, that it's one of the most visited cities in the world.
Although Bangkok is a frenetic and packed city which can feel overwhelming and chaotic to newcomers, there is much more to the so-called City of Angels (a rough translation of Krung Thep). The sà·nùk- (fun-) loving locals are known for their playfulness and welcoming nature, and the language barrier is often surmounted with a smile.
If the noise of a city buzzing with millions of people gets too much to handle, foreigners in Bangkok have the option to take a break from the heat and the chaos, either among the peace and solitude of the various Buddhist temples or with some retail therapy in the city’s modern, air-conditioned mega malls.
Career in Bangkok
Bangkok earns an excellent score in the employer activity indicator, ranking joint 18th globally. Bangkok is Thailand's business hub, and is sometimes described as the motor of Thailand's economy. The city has branches of large international companies, such as Sony and Unilever and it has a large finance sector, meaning it attracts graduates from all over the world.
