2.NUST collaborating with Caltech on project titled Interactive Grid Analysis Environment (IGAE). Research funding of US$ 0.18 Million recently approved under Pak-US collaboration for this project
3.NUST collaborating with Stanford since Feb 04 in a project titled Measurement and Analysis for the Global Grid and Internet End-to-End Performance (MAGGIE). Research funding of US$ 0.162 Million approved under Pak-US collaboration for this project

Finance and Scholarships

HEC - JICA (Introduction)

The poverty alleviation is one of the priority areas of the Government and higher education is recognized as a significant contributing factor towards economic growth and human development in a country. HEC is instrumental in achieving this goal to provide quality education accessible to those talented students who cannot afford the cost of higher studies in Pakistan.

HEC-Japanese Need Based scholarship program for Pakistani University Students aims at providing equal opportunities to talented students who are unable to enter higher education due to financial constraints. The scope of project includes award of 1500 scholarships within five years to the students who are currently enrolled or desire to get admission in any of the below mentioned participating institutions. The program is targeted towards Under-Graduate (4 Years Bachelor) and Graduate (2 Years Masters) level study program of Pakistani institutions in the following three disciplines.
