Founded in 1918, Chung-Ang University has 91 year-old tradition of providing the highest quality of education and conduction advanced research activities under the educational slogan of "Die in justice, Live in righteousness."

Chung-Ang University has grown with the modern history of our nation. More than two hundred thousand alumni contributed to democratization and industrialization of our nation. Eight hundred and fifty full-time faculty members are engaged in teaching and research in various fields. More than twenty eight thousand students on the campus are trained for critical thinking and creative mind, in order to make their dream come true out in the world.

For the past 91 years, Chung-Ang University has produced not only intellectuals of "Justice and Righteousness," but also creative leaders who can lead new age of advanced technological society, yet maintaining our traditional culture. In addition, it has made contribution to our nation and society by producing new knowledge needed with the help of competent research man power. As usual, our libraries and research centers are lit late at night as bright as daytime.
