Finance and Scholarships

There are approximately 454 sholarships offered for undergraduate students, and around 26.3 billion KRW is given to 14,547 students annually. These scholarships comprise approximately 30% of the total number of graduates.

UIC offers several highly competitive corporate-sponsored full tuition scholarships. In addition, up to 11 categories of university financial assistance are available for qualified students. University financial assistance is determined primarily on the basis of economic need, and ongoing support requires that the student maintain a certain minimum GPA.

International students who have received (or will be receiving by Feb. 28, 2008) a diploma from high school, international or domestic, are qualified. According to Korean Ministry of Education regulations, an international student is defined for the purpose of university admission as one who is a non-Korean national and whose parents are both non-Korean nationals.
