The standard of teaching at the School of Management and Business has attracted the highest recognition for quality as a result of the Teaching Quality Assessment review. The review found our teaching was of an “excellent” standard and faculty members were praised for their individual support for students. Teaching on the Accounting, Finance and Economics programmes was particularly commended in recognition of our significant academic expertise in these areas.

The focus of our academic and research activities is to develop practice-based knowledge. Using an established network of contacts in business and industry, we attract experienced professionals and management practitioners to contribute to our teaching and research activities.
