B.A. in Applied Psychology and Human Development - Organizational Studies

This program prepares students for work in social and community service and/or for graduate study in counseling, human development, educational psychology, and related fields. The curriculum offers a theoretical base in developmental and counseling psychology with a focus on understanding psychological processes in context. Students in human development have obtained employment in educational, human service, and business settings. A practicum experience provides students with an opportunity to develop important professional skills and explore career opportunities. The 10-course major gives a strong background in the area of developmental psychology and an introduction to the field of counseling.
