Career Change from Computer Science to Aeronautical Engineering
on Mon, 06/22/2015 - 18:17
Hi Friends,
I'm a B.E. in C.S.E and planning to appear for GRE this year. But i wish to change the career to Aeronautical Engg. Is this possible? if yes, then what are the pre requisites to apply for MS in aero and which univ will support this career change? if no, then which is the course in M.S. in C.S.E. that will eventually somehow help me in landing to aeronautics industry?
As per a blog posted on the link : https://www.topuniversities.com/courses/engineering-aeronautical/guide, there is a line which says 'A few institutions also offer associate degree programs, but these usually are reserved for practicing engineering professionals who have already graduated in a related field, and want to change careers into aeronautical engineering.'
Can you please help in letting me know which are these institutions that offer such programs?
Please please guide me on this.
Eagerly awaiting your response.
Thanks.
Hey, while some universities
Hey, while some universities require master's students to have a bachelor degree in the same subject, this is not the case for all schools. The only way to find out however is to read the entry requirements for your chosen MS on each university's official website.
You can find the top universities for mechanical and aeronautical engineering here and the top for computer science here. Good luck! Laura
I am almost done with Bs
I am almost done with Bs Computer Science, but I want to pursue my master degree in Aeronautical / aerospace engg.. Is it possible?? And can you suggest some universities in europe or in England for this??
I would love to know and appreciate your help. Thank you
Yes, it is possible but first
Yes, it is possible but first of all you need to get bachelor,s degree in any engineering field then you can opt for the master degree in Aeronautical/aerospace engineering.
There are are many options available with you in the engineering universities from Ukraine, Europe. In my view, the Kharkiv Aviation Institute provides you the options of both aeronautical/aerospace engineering and also the engineering in it's sub-disciplines.
