I have a CGPA of 7.36/10 and Percentage 66.24. Bachelors in Mechanical engineering. I'm aware of the fact that most universities require 70% for admission.
Do we have any university that has percentage requirements around 60% ?

It depends on which university you go for. For example, in the UK, you need 70-75% for a top 'redbrick' university, whereas you can get away with 60% in a university which may have the same quality course but not the same ranking or reputation as a 'redbrick' uni

Hi Ashlea, if you're still in need of information, take a look at our ranking of the world's top universities for engineering and technology or use our individual subject rankings to find the top schools for mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering etc. (you can filter your results by country).

We also have a Canada country guide, a graduate guide to studying in Canada, and a list of all the top universities in Canada divided by Province.

For scholarships, take a look at our full list of international scholarships or check our dedicated article on Scholarships to Study in Canada as well as this one on International Scholarships for Engineering Students.

I hope this helps! Laura

Hey! We have a ranking of the top universities in Canada for mechanical engineering which should be useful but entry requirements vary widely so you'll have to research the schools in this list yourself (via an online search or their official website) and search for program details and entry requirements for international students. If you can't find this information you should contact the school's admissions team directly. Bear in mind however, that the higher up the rankings list you go, the higher the entry requirements are likely to be. For more information on studying abroad in Canada see the following articles:

Good luck with your search!

Hi Mahmudul, we have a ranking of the world's top universities for mechanical engineering featuring a number of US and Canadian universities. The schools featured in the top 100 are likely to have the highest entry requirements, while schools lower down often offer lower requirements and may fit your grade profile better. Good luck! L

Hi there! All universities set their own entry requirements so there is quite a lot of variation in entry requirements. Before giving up hope on a top school, I would make sure to look at the requirements of all schools featured in our subject ranking of top universities for mechanical engineering by visiting their websites and checking program details. If this is unsuccessful however, more top Canadian universities can be found in our world rankings. I hope you find a program! L
