GERMAN EDUCATION IS AS GOOD AS THEIR FOOTBALL– CONGRATULATIONS GERMANY ON A WELL DESERVED WORLD CUP GLORY!
Study Abroad 365 has put together a list of 25 universities in Germany that are tuition free for international students seeking to study in Germany. However, be informed that while studying in Germany, you’ll be required to finance your feeding and accommodation expenses. International students should budget roughly 500 Euros for their books, healthcare, food and registration. So in one year, an international student should expect to spend 7000 Euros on feeding, accommodation and books expenses.
HOW TO OBTAIN A VISA
To obtain a German visa, you’ll have to show concrete finance proof of your ability to finance your accommodation and feeding expenses during your time of study. This can be done in either of two ways:
(1) Submit a letter of finances to the German consulate or embassy. You can obtain this sponsor letter from your parents or a German relative who is willing to sponsor your studies in Germany.
(2) Open a German blocked account and deposit roughly 7000 euro. This can only happen once you’ve received your letter of admission. This blocked account is opened in the German embassy.
For more information, visit a German consulate in your home country or check out their websites for further details.

Hi Abhinesh, you can find the exact entry requirements for MBAs in Germany on German universities' official websites, but in general you'll need:

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time experience
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • To have passed the GMAT, GRE or other admissions test
  • A language proficiency test result - depending on what language you study in, for example TOEFL/IELTS if you study your MBA in English and you're not a native speaker.
  • A clear motivation to learn and work in a global environment.

You can find out more about studying an MBA in Germany here. Hope this helps!

Hi,

I am currently look for a film/documentary school in Germany with free tuition.  I am looking for a certifcate/diploma rather than a Masters course.  I need beginner experience, as I studied a bachelor's in a different major.  What are my options?

Hi Nesrine, this will depend on your study level, where you're from and whereabouts in Germany you study. If you're a non-EU student, you'll need to pay tuition fees to study in Baden-Württemberg. Elsewhere, some master's degrees do charge tuition fees. You can read more in our article 'how much does it cost to study in Germany?'.

Hi, I'm from Morocco and I have a BA degree in English Studies ( Linguistics ), and I was wondering how I can continue my studies and get a master program from Germany. Besides, do I need to study another year in Germany so that I can have a BA in Germany too, or I can complete my studies without any Complexities? Thank you for your time. Kind regards

Hi Mohamed, I think your current bachelor's degree is likely to be accepted as equivalent to the German bachelor's degree without any difficulties, but if you could double check this with the universities you're interested in. You can find out more about applying for a master's degree in Germany here. :)
