Hi, I am from India. I have applied for MSc Computer Science (conversion) in three universities in UK. The universities being :
University of Edinburgh
University of Birmingham
Newcastle University
I have offers from Birmingham and Newcastle and I am currently waiting for Edinburgh.
Can anyone please suggest me the best university for this course from the ones above ?
I would like to consider both the locality and the course modules of the university.
According to rankings Edinburgh seems to be the best choice. It has good course modules and I also seem to like the locality of the university. But I still need to wait for the offer and I am afraid that the offers from the other two universities might expire (It's been 3 weeks since Newcastle offer). Also I would need enough time for visa and financial processess.
Newcastle seems great locality wise but there are no extra course modules offered for my course.
Birmingham seems like a wise choice (currently) due to the course modules, but I don't seem to like the locality of the university. Is the city of Birmingham good ?
As I have never lived outside of India, I would also like to explore while I study in UK. I am more of nature person than a city person and this is why Newcastle attracts me more. Birmingham seems to be at center of UK and the coastline seems to be far away from the university.
I have not received any deadline information on the Newcastle offer, does this mean it would'nt get expired after some time (a month maybe) ?
I will be very thankful if any one can help me with my decision.
