Many assignments have a practical focus and you may be asked to develop innovative approaches to challenges such as developing a sustainable fan base for a sports club or attracting a media partner for a new venue. We also work with you to develop your creativity so that you can devise memorable marketing campaigns. This course offers an optional four year route, where you may spend your third year working in industry or studying abroad before returning for your final year. You will be taught in the Business School’s state of the art building on All Saints Campus. in central Manchester. During your sandwich placement, you will be encouraged to identify a work based issue that you can explore and develop into a research project in your final year. This course is supported and endorsed by employers meaning that the skills of our students are recognised when they reach the point of entering the competitive jobs market. You will have the opportunity to volunteer at sporting events during your studies. The Faculty of Business and Law hosts two Professional Development Weeks annually.
