About Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology

Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (MUCTR) is now approaching its 125th anniversary. This remarkable age inspires reverence, and obliges us to keep up with the established traditions. Now MUCTR is more than 7,000 students, including over 500 students from 36 foreign countries; 500 post-graduate students and interns; 300 PhD holders and Associate Professors; more then100 Doctors of Science and Professors; 11 Academicians and Correspondent Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences. There are nine Faculties: Faculty of Natural Sciences; Faculty of Chemical Engineering; Faculty of Technology of Inorganic Substances and High Temperature Materials; Faculty of Technology of Organic Substances and Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Faculty of Technology of Oil&Gas Chemistry and Polymer Materials; Faculty of Information Technologies and Management; Faculty of Biotechnology and Industrial Ecology; Faculty of Chemical Engineering; Humanitarian Faculty. Four Institutes function within D. Mendeleyev University, namely: the Institute of Modern Energetic and Nanotechnology; the Institute for Problems of Chemistry and Sustainable Development; the Institute for Management and Economics; the Novomoskovsk Institute (MUCTR Branch, Tula Region, Russia). Certificate on the State Accreditation - №1616 (28th of March 2012), State License - №1930 (8 February 2016). The University runs undergraduate and graduate/postgraduate programs.
