For a Taught Master’s Programme other than the Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive M.B.A.) Programme, the applicant shall have:

  • graduated from a recognized university and obtained a bachelor’s degree, normally with honours not lower than Second Class or achieving an average grade of not lower than “B”; or
  • completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.

In addition to the general admissions requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should preferably have

  • good knowledge of mathematics (such as calculus, linear algebra and probability) and proficiency in at least one modern programming language (such as C, C++, Java or Python) as shown in academic transcript(s);
  • obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Finance/Business-related discipline from a recognized university or equivalent professional qualifications.
