Finding a Postgraduate Scholarship: Advice from a Past Winner main image

Looking for a postgraduate scholarship to fund a master’s or PhD program? Every year, the QS Scholarships fund offers US$1.7 million in exclusive scholarship funding for attendees of the QS World Grad School Tour and the QS World MBA Tour.

Petros Perselis, winner of the 2011 QS Community Scholarship, explains how receiving this postgraduate scholarship helped him to pursue a master’s degree at Stanford University. Now enjoying the beginnings of a career in financial services and consulting, he shares some words of advice for others seeking postgraduate scholarship opportunities.

More about QS Scholarships

If you too would like a postgraduate scholarship to support the next stage of your studies, check out the current list of QS Scholarships. As well as postgraduate scholarships to study at specific universities, the scheme also includes several QS Scholarships which can be used to fund any master’s or PhD program. The QS Leadership Scholarship is awarded to individuals demonstrating strong leadership skills and a commitment to making a positive difference, while the QS Academic Scholarship recognizes academic excellence and the potential to contribute to a significant field of research.

Attending the QS World Grad School Tour

In order to apply for a QS Scholarship, you’ll first need to attend a QS World Grad School Tour event. Each year you can choose from events held in almost 70 cities across North and Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. As well as qualifying you to apply for the postgraduate scholarships offered by QS and partner universities, the QS World Grad School Tour is also a chance to meet leading universities from around the world. Attendees of the QS World Grad School Tour have the opportunity to speak directly with university admissions tutors and advisors, and to attend seminars on topics such as international applications and graduate admissions tests.
