Do you have a desire to work with management and development of industrial production? As a graduate of cand.tech. in Production with specialization in Production Systems, you can handle technical management and operational tasks at a high level and work with the foundation for the value creation that enables export and international trade. During the education, you deal with topics such as production, information systems, planning, strategy and finance.

When competition is fierce, the ability to continuously develop and optimize production is of great importance to everyone. With a master's degree in Production, you qualify to analyze and contribute to the development of industrial production both technically and managerially.  Production with specialization in Production Systems is a 2-year master's program studied in Aalborg. Throughout the education, you will be encouraged to work with the business community as part of the project work, where you and your project group will find solutions to challenges in relation to production. All projects are based on real-life issues and are designed in such a way that you are constantly challenged to think creatively and innovatively in order to find workable solutions.

Aalborg University offers interdisciplinary studies where bachelor courses (basic study programmes) are followed by masters and Ph.D. courses (subsequent specialisation). The university offers 10 different undergraduate programmes in English across five faculties:

  • The Faculty of Humanities
  • The Technical Faculty of IT and Design

Each of the five faculties has its own schools with full time bachelor education spanning over three years and designed to prepare students for master and Ph.D. education at a high academic and international level. Since the Ph.D. programmes are focussed on training researchers, students are researching independently and being actively involved in Aalborg’s research community.
